Super Blu, Suvla Bay, Goldenpaw Lad and Crowdza Rockin' collided soon after the start checking Suvla Bay and Goldenpaw Lad. Crowdza Rockin' checked off Zipping Murphy approaching the first turn. Millie's Angel and Zipping Murphy collided approaching the first turn. Suvla Bay galloped on the heels of Millie's Angel on the first turn. MIllie's Angel lost ground from the first turn.
Millie's Angel was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right back muscle, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.
