Mepunga Bella and Kouta Mayhem were quick to begin.
Immen Bale, Charlie Bear and Vostok collided soon after the start checking Immen Bale, Charlie Bear, Vostok and Last Outlaw. Kouta Gold faltered on the first turn checking Mepunga Bella. Vostok, Charlie Bear and Mepunga Bella collided approaching the winning post checking Charlie Bear. Immen Bale and Kouta Mayhem collided approaching the winning post checking Kouta Mayham.
Kouta Gold was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left biceps injury, a 60 day stand down period was imposed.
