Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr. I. Bibby, the trainer of Crymelon Turbine regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Crymelon Turbine last raced on 2nd June, 2018. Mr. Bibby stated that the greyhound was returning to racing after an extended spell. Mr. Bibby also declared a new weight of 31.9kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Crymelon Turbine last raced at 30.8kg.
Almani Tee Rex and Moyarra Whiz were slow to begin.
Crymelon Victory checked off Moyarra Whiz approaching the home turn. Slanter and Almani Tee Rex raced wide approaching the home turn, on the home turn and entering the home straight. Slanter and Almani Tee Rex collided approaching the winning post.
Slanter was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left and right triangle, a seven day stand down period was imposed.
