Kabuki Girl was quick to begin. Kantilla and Major Style were slow to begin.  Emily Oaks checked off the heels of Ebby's Plan approaching the first turn, checking Kantilla.  Emily Oaks and Major Style collided approaching the home turn, checking Major Style and Kantilla.

A pre-race sample was unable to be obtained from Clyde's Girl, a post-race sample was subsequently taken.

Rugged was slow to begin.  Mia Crazy and Half A Minya collided soon after the start, checking Mia Crazy.  Mia Crazy and Clyde's Girl collided approaching the home turn.  Mongolian Bay checked off One More Jesse in the home straight.

Bungaloo Jedda was quick to begin.  Nicky Jo was slow to begin.  Spritely Bob and Slick Brew collided soon after the start, checking Spritely Bob.  Lobster Hill and Miss Luna Girl collided approaching the first turn, checking Miss Luna Girl.  Slick Brew and Miss Luna Girl collided approaching the home turn.  Miss Luna Girl galloped on the heels of Bungaloo Jedda on the home turn, checking both greyhounds.  Miss Luna Girl and Nicky Jo collided in the home straight.

Stewards spoke to Mr Mathew Tabb, the kennel representative of Supraspinatus, regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Supraspinatus last raced on 27 April 2018.  Mr Tabb stated that the greyhound was returning to racing after an extended spell.

Supraspinatus was slow to begin.  Supraspinatus and Searching collided soon after the start.  Boona Lad checked off More Moment approaching the first turn.  Supraspinatus and Jai Jai Away collided on the first turn, checking Jai Jai Away, Searching and Piriformis.  Piriformis and Troy Boyce collided on the home turn, checking Jai Jai Away.  Supraspinatus, Blackpool Doc and Piriformis collided in the home straight, checking Piriformis which brushed the running rail as a result.

Jai Jai Away was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Dyna Hinkley was quick to begin.  Theo's Thunder checked off Rixy Ya Pest approaching the first turn.  It's Magic and Orleans collided approaching the home turn, checking It's Magic.  Orleans checked off Cool Coco in the home straight.

Lochinvar Adore, Cruzin' and Sariah Allen collided soon after the start.  Cruzin' checked off Blackpool Alexis approaching the first turn.  Cruzin' checked off Atlantic Rose approaching the home turn.  Dazzling Melody and Lektra Viki collided in the home straight.

Cruzin' was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an abrasion on the left hock and left foreleg biceps, right foreleg chest and right hindleg quadriceps injuries, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.
