Stewards spoke to Mr Darren Fisher, the trainer of Deneholme Dasher, regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Deneholme Dasher last raced on 13 June 2018.  Mr Fisher stated the greyhound was resuming racing following a change of kennel.

Deneholme Dasher was quick to begin.  Ebby's Plan, Thomeli Gal and Nimble Leo collided approaching the first turn.  Ebby's Plan and Thomeli Gal collided on the first turn, checking Thomeli Gal.  Speed Burst, Ebby's Plan and Nimble Leo collided approaching the home turn, checking Ebby's Plan and Speed Burst.  Speed Burst raced wide entering the home straight and checked off Nimble Leo.

Winlock Slim was quick to begin.  Kurtis Pandora was slow to begin.  Stavros, Shield Of Dreams, Kraken Roger and Nimble Rebel collided soon after the start, checking Shield Of Dreams and Kraken Roger.  Digger's Cove and  Kraken Jane Babe collided approaching the home turn, severely checking Digger's Cove.

Digger's Cove was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Bob's Brew and Fifteen Wheeler were slow to begin.  Completed, Shakin' Brave and Dewana No Secret collided approaching the first turn, checking Shakin' Brave.  Shakin' Brave, Chill Out Webby and Thomeli Skip collided on the first turn.  Completed, Dewana No Secret and Fifteen Wheeler collided approaching the home turn, checking Completed and Dewana No Secret; Completed and Dewana No Secret raced wide as a result.  Shakin' Brave checked off Thomeli Skip approaching the home turn.  Dewana No Secret checked off Completed approaching the home turn.  Shakin' Brave raced wide approaching the home turn and galloped on the heels of Completed, checking both greyhounds.

Completed was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right hindleg pencil/whip injury, a five day stand down period was imposed.

Black Lazarus and Kraken Witch were quick to begin.  Hot Spuds was slow to begin.  Thomeli Rocket and Chops Malone collided on the first turn, checking Chops Malone.  Steorra and Dee Nine collided approaching the home turn, checking Dee Nine.  Dee Nine checked off Hot Spuds approaching the home turn.  Chops Malone checked off Thomeli Rocket approaching the home turn.

Saint Ray was quick to begin.  Jar Man, Looking Down and Billy Deeds collided soon after the start, checking Looking Down and Billy Deeds.  Mepunga Billy and Solar Mocha collided soon after the start, checking Mepunga Billy.  Solar Mocha, Saint Ray, Beanbag and Jar Man collided on the first turn, checking Saint Ray and Solar Mocha.  Looking Down checked off Solar Mocha on the home turn.

Cloona Lass was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a minor laceration to the left hind foot., a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Kraken Lightning and Two Phils Cool were quick to begin.  Kodason, Full Of Boloney and Bear Left collided soon after the start, checking Full Of Boloney.  Azalea, Kodason, Bear Left, Super Tokachi and Magic Shianne collided approaching the first turn.  Azalea checked off Kodason approaching the home turn.  Magic Shianne checked off Super Tokachi approaching the home turn.  Azalea checked off Full Of Boloney in the home straight.

Stewards spoke to handler, Ms Kerry Prowse regarding her difficulty in boxing the greyhound Golden Sunrise.  Stewards directed that Golden Sunrise be boxed first in future events.

Satisfactory Trial Results - Mr Frost trialled over the 410m from box eight, weight 32.4 kgs, the greyhound was placed first in a field of four. The time of the trial was 23:604, the greyhound won by a margin of 3.75 lengths.  Mr Frost was Cleared.
