Stewards spoke to Mr. A. Britton, the trainer of Boomer Blitz, regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Boomer Blitz last raced on 7th June 2018. Mr. Britton stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following a right stopper injury.
A pre-race sample was taken from Winlock Rose.
Winlock Rose and Dyna Zapto collided soon after the start checking Dyna Zapto. Winlock Rose, Sub Zero Magic, Blackpool Tipsy and Brake Drum collided on the first turn checking Blackpool Tipsy and Brake Drum. Boomer Blitz and Dyna Zapto collided approaching the home turn checking Dyna Zapto. Brake Drum and Blackpool Tipsy collided on the home turn.
