Steward's Report
Why Not Peter, Navajo Bear and Boquilla were quick to begin. Blue Magoo was slow to begin. Magic Jet and Navajo Bear collided on the first turn. Pure White Evil and Got Some Wheels collided on the first turn. Blue Magoo falted on the first turn and tailed off as a result. Boquilla and Why Not Peter collided in the home straight.
Blue Magoo was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right foreleg monkey muscle injury. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.
A sample was taken from Got Some Wheels, winner of the event.
Stewards held All Clear to view all available footage of the slight delay of the lure run up due to the catching pen gate not being in the correct position. After viewing all available footage the Stewards were satisfied that no greyhound was disadvantaged and the All Clear was given. This matter was referred to the club manager for his consideration.
