Steward's Report
Hill Top Hood was a late scratching at 11.08 am, due to a hock injury (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.
A pre-race sample was taken from Spirit Bar.
Jacobite Joseph was slow to begin. Kraken Copper and Star Project collided approaching the first turn. Jacobite Joseph and Soda Geoff collided on the first turn, checking both greyhounds. Kraken Copper checked off Spirit Bar approaching the home turn.
Jacobite Joseph was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a spike wound to the left stopper, a five day stand down period was imposed.
Soda Geoff was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
