Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr Glenn Petrie, the trainer of Redcliff Rebel, regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Redcliff Rebel last raced on 22 January 18. Mr Petrie stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following a tail injury.
Tekidanto was a late scratching at 4:14 pm, due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer, Mr Matthew Marshall was fined the sum of $100.
Thurles Princess was slow to begin. Redcliff Rebel and Callum's Son collided approaching the first turn, checking Redcliff Rebel. Miss Dangerwood, Crymelon Zest and Callum's Son collided on the first turn, checking Crymelon Zest and Top That One. Redcliff Rebel galloped on the heels of Top That One on the first turn. Redcliff Rebel crossed to the outside approaching the home turn, checking Top That One and Crymelon You Cro.
