Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr Mario Briganti, the trainer of Tobacco Leaf, regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Tobacco Leaf last raced on 29 March 2018 and is returing after a right calf injury.
Khaleesi Girl was quick to begin. Tobacco Leaf was slow to begin. Cataleya, Loch Monster and Our Didda collided approaching the first turn, checking Loch Monster. Cataleya, Our Didda and Boil Over collided approaching the first turn, severely checking Cataleya and Tobacco Leaf. Cataleya checked off Tobacco Leaf entering the back straight.
Cataleya was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained neck soreness. No stand down period was imposed.
