Burnett, the trainer of Charlie Cockatoo regarding his failure to appear at the kennels by the appointed time to retrieve his greyhound for racing.  Stewards charged Mr. Burnett with a breach of GAR 46(2) .Mr Burnett pleaded guilty to the charge and was fined the sum of $100.

Class Diamond was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to its right thigh muscle and abrasions to its right hind webbing.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. P. Smith, the trainer of Miss Vane regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Miss Vane last raced on 1st February, 2018.  Mr. Smith  stated that the greyhound was new to the kennel.

Mr P.Grills  trainer of Dazzling Melody declared a new weight of 28.7kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Dazzling Melody last raced at 27.5kg.
