Big Black John was quick to begin. Barcia Houdini was slow to begin.
My Boy Roman and Pinnaroo collided approaching the first turn checking Pinnaroo. Miss Fagan, Pinnaroo and Spectra Design collided on the first turn checking Spectra Design. My Boy Roman and Cruising Solo collided on the first turn checking Cruising Solo. Pinnaroo checked off My Boy Roman approaching the home turn. Cruising Solo and Fawn Secrets raced wide in the home straight.
The Trainer and Handler of Pinnaroo, Mr Donald Field was spoken to about the boxing of this greyhound being difficult to the point of requiring assistance and also the handling of Pinnaroo post-race. After considering the circumstances of the moment, Mr Fields' personal antecedence and the provisions of GAR 45, the Stewards directed that another suitably qualified person is to handle Pinnaroo at his next three race starts.
