Toby's Taxi was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an abrasion to the left wrist, no stand down period was imposed.

Dee Final Siren, Run Tom Run and Sisco Ride were slow to begin.  Dee Final Siren and Run Tom Run collided soon after the start.  Hillbilly June and Sisco Ride collided approaching the first turn.  Jamie's Rocket and Sisco Ride collided on the first turn checking Sisco Ride.  Sisco Ride, Krisbar Lou Lou and Hillbilly June collided on the first turn, severely checking Krisbar Lou Lou and Hillbilly June which lost ground as a result.

Hillbilly June was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a small abrasion to the right fore, no stand down period was imposed.

Krisbar Lou Lou was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an abrasion to the lower right jaw, and a right shin injury, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

A sample was taken from Arachnophobia, the winner of the event.

Stewards spoke to Mr. W. Elson, the trainer of Tribe regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Tribe last raced on 9th June, 2017.  Mr. Elson stated that the greyhound was new to the kennel.  Mr. Elson also declared a new weight of 30.5kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2).  Tribe last raced at 31.6kg.

Maximum Gift and Trew Danger were slow to begin.  Tribe, Tiger Cabang and Krazy Blaze collided soon after the start checking Tribe.  Tiger Cabang, Krazy Blaze and Miss Oreo Mac collided approaching the first turn.  Crackerjack Jim, Tribe and Maximum Gift collided on the first turn.  Tribe and Crackerjack Jim collided on the first turn checking Crackerjack Jim.  Tiger Cabang and Krazy Blaze collided on the first turn checking Tiger Cabang.

Don One was quick to begin.  You Bandit, Little Dynamo and Not Onya Own collided soon after the start.  Black Rose Texas and Doc Nam collided soon after the start checking Doc Nam.  Don One and Perfect Nature collided approaching the first turn.  Little Dynamo and Not Onya Own collided on the first turn.  You Bandit and Koda Blue collided on the first turn checking You Bandit.  Black Rose Texas and Don One collided approaching the home turn.  You Bandit and Perfect Nature collided approaching the home turn.  Koda Blue and Little Dynamo collided in the home straight.

Dessy Fozz, Foxy Whip, Kruzin' Cripps and Cosmic Chapta collided soon after the start checking Cosmic Chapta.  Hey Alio Fozzio, Dessy Fozz and Kruzin' Cripps collided on the first turn.  Cosmic Chapta clipped the heels of Hey Alio Fozzio approaching the second turn.  Foxy Whip and Kruzin' Cripps collided on the second turn.  Mac's Intention and Strength To Wyn collided entering the back straight.  Hey Alio Fozzio and Kruzin' Cripps collided approaching the third turn.  Mac's Intention and Cosmic Chapta collided on the third turn checking Cosmic Chapta.  Cosmic Chapta and Foxy Whip collided approaching the home turn.  Dessy Fozz and Strength To Wyn collided in the home straight.  Hey Alio Fozzio and Kruzin' Cripps raced wide in the home straight.

Vanderville Girl was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left calf, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. S. Dervish, the trainer of Heartbreak Love regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Heartbreak Love last raced on 29th June, 2017.  Mr. Dervish stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following an extended spell.  Mr. Dervish also declared a new weight of 26.5kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Heartbreak Love last raced at 25.3kg.
