White Minion was quick to begin. Glendower, Living Daylights and Evil Pedro were slow to beign. Evil Pedro raced wide from the back straight to the winning post. Xevra Allen checked off the heels of Usara Allen on the first turn. White Minion crossed to the rail on the first turn, checking Glendower. 

A pre race sample was taken from Unexplainable.

Axel's A Rebel and Dyna Winkler collided approaching the first turn. Phoenix Fernando crossed to the rail on the first turn, checking Proven Mystery, and colliding with Unexplainable, Dyna Winkler and Montana Fernando, checking Montana Fernando. Dyna Winkler and Sky Flix collided approaching the home turn. Axel's A Rebel galloped on the heels of Unexplainable approaching the home turn, checking both greyhounds. Sky Flix raced wide on the home turn. Unexplainable checked off the heels of Dyna Winkler in the home straight. 

Proven Mystery was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a laceration to the left calf, a 7 day stand down period was imposed. 

A pre race sample was taken from Zipping Diva.

Daytona Fernando was slow to begin. Daytona Fernando and Zipping Diva collided soon after the start. Zipping Diva checked off the heels of Daytona Fernando approaching the first turn. Miami Fernando and Daytona Fernando collided on the first turn. Zipping Diva checked off Miami Fernando approaching the home turn, causing Zipping Diva to race wide. Miami Fernando checked off the heels of Forgotten Girl entering the home straight. 

Stewards spoke to Mr P Mathieson, the trainer of Central Bark regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Central Bark last raced on 9th December 2017. Mr Mathieson stated that the greyhound was returning from a right hock injury.

A pre race sample was taken from Central Bark. 

Voodoo Hustler, Central Bark and Theatrics Show collided on the first turn, checking Central Bark and Fawn Pursuit. Lektra Blicavs crossed to the rail on the first turn, checking Midnite Starling, which raced wide for the remainder of the race. Central Bark and Fawn Pursuit collided entering the home straight. Central Bark checked off the heels of Voodoo Hustler approaching the winning post. 

Gin Lee's Bullet was slow to begin. Cosmic Kilby, Loch Mac and Scott Dynamism collided approaching the first turn, checking Scott Dynamism, which collided with Gin Lee's Bullet and Big Deal. Gin Lee's Bullet and Scott Dynamism raced wide entering the home straight. Gin Lee's Bullet and Cosmic Kilby collided in the home straight. 

A pre race sample was taken from Sisco Dun.

Destini Cowboy, Tears I'm Not and Aston Ninja were slow to begin. Kadabra Monelli, Aston Ninja and Sisco Dun collided approaching the first turn, checking Sisco Dun, Aston Ninja and Sisco Bella. Gomez Sanchez and Tears I'm Not collided entering the home straight, and again in the home straight. 

Destini Cowboy was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left hamstring, a 5 day stand down period was imposed. 

Noonbarra Storm, Flying Sam and Down Mexico Way were slow to begin. Flying Sam, Blackpool Doc and Down Mexico Way collided approaching the first turn, checking Blackpool Doc and Flying Sam. Clouded Acorn checked off the heels of Right Said Frank approaching the first turn, and collided with Ronray Destiny, causing both greyhounds to race wide. Clouded Acorn raced wide in the home straight. 

A pre race sample was taken from Cibulkova.

This race was delayed by approximately 1 minute due to holding for a harness race.

Cibulkova and Kalgoorlie Kid were slow to begin. Come Home and Bageera collided approaching the home turn. 

Stewards spoke to Mr R. Brook, the kennel representative of Wind Witch regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Wind Witch last raced on 2nd January 2018. Mr Brook stated that the greyhound was recovering from an injury. Mr Brook, declared a new weight of 26.5 kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Wind Witch last raced at 28.4 kg.

Stewards spoke to Mr. Martin Galea, who was representing the trainer of Got It Right regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Got It Right last raced on 4th February 2018. Mr. Galea stated that the greyhound was recovering from a groin operation.

A pre race sample was taken from Wind Witch.

Mira's Potion and Wind Witch were slow to begin. Mini Fernando, Got It Right and Mira's Potion collided approaching the first turn, checking Mini Fernando. Marcus Joy and Kaylin collided heavily entering the home straight, causing Kaylin to race wide. Mini Fernando and Got It Right collided entering the home straight. Kaylin and Tankalicious raced wide in the home straight. 

Wind Witch was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an abrasion to the right hind toe. No stand down period was imposed.

A sample was taken from Got It Right - unplaced in the event. 

A pre race sample was taken from Shep.

Shep crossed to the rail approaching the first turn, checking Eily West. Eily West checked off the heels of Shep approaching the home turn. Tiggerlong Boo raced wide on the home turn. Skyes Apprentice checked off the heels of Tiggerong Boo in the home straight. 

A pre race sample was taken from Swift Trent.

Hot Jean was slow to begin. I'm All One and Hot Jean collided on the first turn, checking Hot Jean. I'm All One and Exonerated collided approaching the home turn, causing Exonerated and Dodge An' Steele to race wide.

Speedy Scar and Bobby Tokaam were slow to begin. Speedy Scar, Kyrgios and Geopark Ruby collided approaching the first turn, checking Geopark Ruby.
