Mr Clint Capuano, trainer of Dyna Zad declared a new weight of 25.5kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Dyna Zad last raced at 24.0kg on 19 May 2018 and has changed kennels.
Weasley Grange and Dyna Zad were slow to begin.
Sable Sass, Hightan, Brazilian Brae and Weasley Grange collided soon after the start, severely checking Weasley Grange which fell as a result. Sable Sass, Hightan and Brazilian Brae collided approaching the first turn, checking Hightan and Brazilian Brae. Go Seek Heidi, Hightan and Brazilian Brae collided approaching the first turn, checking Brazilian Brae. Oops A Daisy and Go Seek Heidi collided on the first turn.
