Magic Flora checked off Kireina approaching the home turn, and again on the home turn. Blue Tornado raced wide on the home turn and in the home straight.

Akina Harley and Angie were slow to begin.

Jetyra Pearl, Molly The Lolly and Stilton Storm collided approaching the first turn, checking Stilton Storm. Piccolo Fratello and Public Life collided approaching the first turn. Angie, Piccolo Fratello and Public Life collided on the first turn, checking Public Life. Molly The Lolly and Jetyra Pearl collided on the first turn, checking Jetyra Pearl. Jetyra Pearl and Stilton Storm collided approaching the home turn. Public Life and Piccolo Fratello collided several times approaching the home turn and on the home turn, checking both greyhounds. Due to a technical issue with the lure, this event started at 6:47PM (the slot allocated previously for Sale Race Six). All subsequent race times were amended to be one race back, and Race 12 rescheduled for 9:08PM.

Stewards spoke to Ms Deborah Coleman, the trainer of Adherent, regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Adherent last raced 21 February 2018 and is returning to racing following a left shoulder and right triangle muscle injury.
