Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Ms. L. Courts, the representative of Miss Dangerwood regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Miss Dangerwood last raced on 25th January 2018. Ms. Courts stated that the greyhound was returning to racing after a gum infection.
Just Talking was slow to begin. Little Snitzel and Glacier Boy collided on the first turn checking Glacier Boy. Glacier Boy contacted the running rail on the first turn checking Big Holiday. Erawan visibly eased in the home straight, turned its head outwards and marred the running of Red King Prince.
Glacier Boy was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Erawan was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its right quadriceps. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr. S. Coulson, the trainer of Erawan regarding the greyhound's racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1), Stewards charged Erawan with marring, Mr. Coulson pleaded guilty to the charge. Erawan was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Geelong and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
