He's Loaded checked off Dyna Alistair approaching the first turn, also checking Myrniong Corner and Zipping Katelyn. Dyna Alistair and Lila Bale collided on the first turn. Zipping Katelyn and Gehring Bale collided on the first turn. Dyna Alistair, Lila Bale and Gehring Bale collided on the second turn, checking Lila Bale. Go Seek Heidi and Myrniong Corner collided on the second turn. Lila Bale checked off Gehring Bale in the back straight. Mepunga Prue and Myrniong Corner collided on the home turn. Mepunga Prue tired in the home straight. Zipping Katelyn turned its head approaching the winning post.

Mepunga Prue was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained no apparent injury.

Myrniong Corner was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a tarsal sprain of the right hock. A 14-day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr S Smith, the kennel representative for the greyhound Zipping Katelyn, regarding the greyhound’s racing manners approaching the winning post. Zipping Katelyn was vetted and revetted following event nine. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a tarsal sprain of the right hock and an injury to the right tensor fascia (triangle) muscle, a ten-day stand down period was imposed. Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Zipping Katelyn with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr Smith pleaded guilty to the charge, Zipping Katelyn was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.
