Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr Aaron Debattista, the trainer of Pritil Manila, regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Pritil Manila last raced on 17 January 2018. Mr Debattista stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following a dislocated toe.
Avatar Vixen was quick to begin. Flying Apollo was slow to begin. Pritil Manila and Dyna Zapto collided soon after the start, checking Dyna Zapto. Dyna Zapto and Flying Apollo collided approaching the first turn. Flying Apollo checked off Pritil Manila approaching the home turn, checking Dyna Zapto. Avatar Vixen and Ashlee Star collided in the home straight, checking Avatar Vixen.
Stewards spoke to Mr Robert Martin regarding the direction that the greyhound Tye Me Over be boxed first. Acting under GAR 52(2) Stewards directed that this box first be removed.
