Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Scott It.
Doorkeeper and Stylish Chief collided soon after the start. Doorkeeper, Stylish Chief and Stoppa Bus collided approaching the first turn. Tegz A Riddler and Atlas Roughead collided on the first turn checking Atlas Roughead and Our Turbo Girl. Atlas Roughead and Stoppa Bus collided approaching the home turn. Doorkeeper and Scott Lucky collided on the home turn. Our Turbo Girl checked off Scott Lucky entering the home straight. Atlas Roughead raced wide in the home straight.
Atlas Roughead was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a spike wound to the left hind toe and a right hamstrings injury. A stand down period of 7 days was imposed.
Meeting Comments:-
Satisfactory Trial Results - All Inn Gunning trialled over the 390mt from box 1, weight 33.7kg, the greyhound was placed 4th in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 22.46, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 9.75L. All Inn Gunning was not cleared
Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) - Stewards spoke to Mr. T. Duncan, the trainer of All Inn Hunter regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced. All Inn Hunter last raced on 27th November 2017. Mr. Duncan stated that the greyhound was returning to racing from a change of kennel and extended spell. All Inn Hunter trialled over the 390mt from box 3, weight 29.3kg, the greyhound was placed 3rd in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 22.46, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 7.5L. All Inn Hunter was cleared.
Satisfactory Trial Results - Whalephant trialled over the 390 from box 4, weight 36.2kg, the greyhound was placed 1st in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 22.46, the greyhound won by a margin of 0.5L. Whalephant was cleared.
