Midnight Memphis and Is All were quick to begin.  Oriental Rhys, Elphaba Oz and Mercy Percy collided approaching the first turn.  Acer checked off Goldielocks Rose on the first turn.  Goldielocks Rose and Mercy Percy collided in the back straight.  Goldielocks Rose checked off Mercy Percy on the home turn.

Alon was a late scratching at 6:25pm, due to weight variation (GAR 39).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Trainer, Mr William McMahon, was fined the sum of $100.

Torh Minter and Wash Out were quick to begin.  Mavro Mike and Hurricane Blake were slow to begin.  Rust clipped the heels of Wash Out approaching the first turn, checking Rust.  Missy Tara and Rust collided on the first turn.  Torh Minter crossed to the outside and raced wide approaching the home turn.  Missy Tara and Rust collided approaching the home turn.  Missy Tara and Hurricane Black collided in the home straight.  Mavro Mike crossed to the outside approaching the winning post.

Flashing Oaks, Zipping Spud and Totally Bullish were slow to begin.  Zipping Spud, Totally Bullish and Peaked collided on the first turn, checking Totally Bullish.  Zipping Irwin and What's Up Skip collided on the first turn.  One More Light and Paua Te Kuri collided on the first turn.  Zipping Spud, Peaked and Zipping Irwin collided entering the back straight, checking all three greyhounds.  One More Light, Paua Te Kuri and What's Up Skip collided on the second turn, checking One More Light.  One More Light, Flashing Oaks and What's Up Skip collided approaching the home turn, checking One More Light and Totally Bullish.  One More Light and Peaked collided on the home turn, checking both greyhounds.  One More Light checked off Zipping Irwin entering the home straight.  Flashing Oaks and Zipping Spud collided in the home straight.

Daintree Brave and Maireana were slow to begin.  Zipping Stan, Where's Marcia and Prince Stealth collided approaching the first turn, checking Blue Bar Pie, Prince Stealth and Where's Marcia.  Maireana clipped the heels of Where's Marcia on the first turn, checking Daintree Brave and Maireana.  Zipping Stan and Aston Halle collided on the first turn.

Daintree Brave was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained right hindleg back muscle and triangle injuries, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Straitline Willy and Akina Blitz were slow to begin.  Savannah Icon and Aston Tobin collided on the first turn.  Straitline Willy and Akina Blitz collided on the first turn.  Savannah Icon checked off Aston Tobin on the first turn, checking Expense Eve.  Joyous Jill and Akina Blitz collided on the second turn.  Grand Devinci and Savannah Icon collided in the back straight.  Savannah Icon and Expense Eve collided on the third turn.  Straitline Willy, Expense Eve and Fourth Dimention collided approaching the winning post.

Siver Lightning was a late scratching at 6:18 pm on Veterinary advice (GAR 37)(fleas).  No day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards will require a veterinary certificate of clearance, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Miss Gracie was quick to begin.  Lonesome Katie crossed to the rail on the first turn, checking Our Echo Rose, Rose Rose and Loaded.  Eduardo Rose and Lonesome Katie collided entering the back straight, checking both greyhounds.  Our Echo Rose and Loaded collided in the back straight.  Miss Gracie and Monster Fish collided on the second turn.  Our Echo Rose and Rose Rose collided on the home turn.  Loaded raced wide in the home straight.  Monster Fish eased and failed to pursue the lure in the home straight and collided with Loaded; checking Loaded.

Monster Fish was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right hindleg back muscle injury, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Ms Kate Gorman, the trainer of the greyhound Monster Fish, regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight.  Acting under GAR 69(A)(1) Stewards charged Monster Fish with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Ms Gorman pleaded guilty to the charge, Monster Fish was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Traralgon and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Doused In Mud was quick to begin.  Fear The Boss and Dat Dat Daty collided soon after the start.  Dewana Express, Mo Dragon, Notorious Mac and Doused In Mud collided on the first turn, checking Dewana Express, Dr Darkrai and Mo Dragon.  Dat Dat Daty and Akina Dee Jay collided in the back straight.  Dr Darkrai, Dat Dat Daty and Akina Dee Jay collided on the third turn, checking Akina Dee Jay.  Dat Dat Daty and Akina Dee Jay collided approaching the home turn and entering the home straight, checking both greyhounds.

Indira's Girl was quick to begin.  Lucas Rose was slow to begin.  Five Lights checked off Indira's Girl approaching the first turn.  Indira's Girl and Lucas Rose collided on the first turn, checking Indira's Girl and Five Lights.  Painted Elvry and Zipping Amber collided on the first turn.

Dark Star crossed in soon after the start, checking Bandit Brad, Trim City, Poison Pen, Meehan Deano and Brindle Ninja.  Meehan Deano and Brindle Ninja collided on the first turn, checking Brindle Ninja.  Poison Pen, Meehan Deano and Trim City collided on the first turn, checking Meehan Deano and Trim City, causing both greyhounds to race wide as a result.

Galloping Leo was a late scratching at 6:14 pm on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon, due to dehydration.  A seven day stand down period was imposed.
