This event was delayed due to the late arrival of the greyhounds to the boxes.
Dyna Dean was quick to begin. Where Art Thou was slow to begin. Where Art Thou and Extreme Magic collided soon after the start. Henry and Royal Intention collided several times approaching the first turn. Hecton Bale and Extreme Magic collided approaching the first turn. Chasin' Crackers, Henry and Royal Intention collided on the first turn. Hecton Bale and Royal Intention collided in the front straight. Hecton Bale and Brueghelino collided on the second turn. Where Art Thou and Brueghelino collided on the second turn. Hecton Bale and Royal Intention collided several times on the second turn and again on the third turn. Where Art Thou and Brueghelino collided on the third turn. Hecton Bale and Extreme Magic collided on the fourth turn.
The correct numbers of 4, 1, 6 & 7 were semaphored immediately after the event. Due to an operational error the incorrect numbers of 4, 6, 7 & 2 were inadvertantly semaphored shortly after. This was immediately adjusted to the correct numbers again of 4, 1, 6 & 7 before the All Clear was given.
Samples were taken from the first three placegetters in this event - Dyna Dean (1st), Chasin' Crackers (2nd) and Where Art Thou (3rd).
