Mr. Fabulous was a late scratching at 6.17pm on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to a punctured right hind pad.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Uringa and Lancome Lady collided soon after the start checking Uringa.  Redhead Chez checked off Lancome Lady approaching the first turn.  Dyna Bella, Redhead Chez and Uringa collided on the first turn checking Redhead Chez.  Baloney Bill and Inga Ross collided on the first turn checking Baloney Bill.  Dyna Bella checked off Wise Lewis approaching the home turn.  Uringa, Inga Ross and Wise Lewis collided on the home turn.  Inga Ross and Redhead Chez collided on the home turn.  Baloney Bill and Dyna Bella collided entering the home straight.  Wise Lewis and Inga Ross collided several times in the home straight.

Gagey's Snags crossed to the outside soon after the start and collided with Naughty Millie and Dyna Zapto.  Warming Galo's, Architecture, Cherokee Thunder, Dyna Zapto, Cruisy's Star and First Responder collided on the first turn checking Warming Galo's, Architecture, Gagey's Snags, Cherokee Thunder, Naughty Millie and Cruisy's Star.  Gagey's Snags raced wide on the home turn.

Stewards spoke to Mr. D. Geall, the trainer of Bombora Thunder, regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Bombora Thunder last raced on 25th October 2017. Mr. Geall stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following a right hind toe injury.

Dodge An' Steele was quick to begin.  Maramba was slow to begin.  Nambrok Agent and Sara's Sox collided approaching the first turn.  Dodge An' Steel checked off Bombora Thunder on the first turn.  Sara's Sox checked off Nambrok Agent on the first turn checking Mr. Romantic.  Maramba galloped on the heels of Sara's Sox on the first turn checking Maramba.  Sara's Sox and Mr. Romantic collided on the home turn.

Dyna Harpa checked off Dyna Alia approaching the first turn.  Oh Jay Korie, Primed Engine and Dyna Alia collided on the first turn checking Primed Engine, Dyna Alia, Wok Fried Yabby, Oh Jay Korie and Dyna Soren.  Ben Roman and Primed Engine collided on the home turn.  Dyna Harpa checked off Primed Engine entering the home straight.  Wok Fried Yabby and Kirby's Rose collided on the home turn and again entering the home straight.

Wise Roseberg and Sisco Dun were slow to begin.  Maximum Bliss checked off Wise Roseberg approaching the first turn.  Maximum Jan checked off Slingshot Storm on the first turn checking Zipping Chaser and Sisco Dun.  Wise Roseberg and Maimum Jan collided on the home turn.  Maximum Bliss raced wide in the home straight.

Dyna Nina and Kouta Gold collided on the first turn checking Dyna Nina.  Tobacco Leaf, Zipping Riot and Isen Allen collided on the first turn.  Louie Neveelk checked off Dyna Nina on the home turn.

Tiggerlong Boom was a late scratching at 6.20pm due to the greyhound being on season (GAR 24). A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. M. Briganti, the trainer of Shanakee, regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Shanakee last raced on 8th September 2017.  Mr. Briganti stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following a right wrist injury.

Possibly was quick to begin.  Tiggerlong Zorro, Astrology, Shanakee and Teflon Toby collided soon after the start checking Astrology and Shanakee.  Tiggerlong Zorro checked off Teflon Toby approaching the first turn.  Jakesta checked off Possibly on the first turn.  Tiggerlong Zorro checked off Astrology on the first turn checking Shanakee.  Jakesta and Tiggerlong Zorro collided entering the home straight.

Down Mexico Way, Alpha Themis and Telarah Flash collided soon after the start checking Alpha Themis and Telarah Flash.  Go Seek Fernando and Gregorovitch collided approaching the first turn.  Gregorovitch, Go Seek Fernando and Alpha Themis collided on the first turn checking Go Seek Fernando and Alpha Themis.  Miss Innings, Down Mexico Way and Gregorovitch collided on the home turn.  Telarah Flash  and Gregorovitch collided several times in the home straight.

A pre-race sample was taken from Spring Baker.

Pupetta Maresca crossed to the inside soon after the start and collided with Hey Alio Fozzio, Treasure Keeper, Kwazii and Spring Baker; Spring Baker and Hey Alio Fozzio were checked as a result.  Pupetta Maresca checked off Treasure Keeper on the first turn checking Spring Baker.  Hey Alio Fozzio raced wide on the home turn and again in the home straight.

The handler of Hey Alio Fozzio, Ms Sarah Fothergill was reminded of her responsibilities when placing greyhounds into their relevant boxes in future events.

A pre-race sample was taken from Warrion Warrior.

Tiggerlong Boo and Lektra Blicavs collided soon after the start checking Lektra Blicavs.  Etiquette checked off Tiggerlong Rock on the first turn checking Warrion Warrior.  Dyna Owen checked off Warrion Warrior on the first turn.  Lochinvar Adore checked off Dyna Owen approaching the home turn.  Lektra Blicavs raced wide in the home straight.

Bolt Power was a late scratching at 1:16pm due to illness (GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.

A pre-race sample was taken from Crackerjack Blax.

Crackerjack Blax was slow to begin.  White Bandit, Marlow's Angel, Miss Legality and Blackpool Alexis collided approaching the first turn checking Miss Legality and Marlow's Angel.  White Bandit checked off Blackpool Alexis on the first turn.

Riverdale Tarzan was slow to begin.  Slingshot Sambo crossed to the outside soon after the start checking Mousey McCoy, Storm Search and Cosmic Moments.  Mousey McCoy, Riverdale Tarzan and Storm Search collided on the first turn checking Mousey McCoy and Riverdale Tarzan.

Following this race Stewards spoke to Mr. Haydn Wilkinson regarding his failure to remove all his greyhounds from the kennel block prior to leaving the course. After taking evidence from Mr. Wilkinson, Stewards adjourned the matter to a date to be fixed.
