Stewards spoke to Mr. R. Reinke, the trainer of Torh Minter regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Torh Minter last raced on 20th November 2017.  Mr. Reinke stated that Torh Minter was returning to race after a left hind toe injury.

In Orbit, But What For and Weeona Wilbur were slow to begin.  Scooby Scooby Do and Weeona Wilbur collided approaching the first turn.  Weeona Wilbur checked off Crossfire Icon approaching the first turn.  In Orbit and Valar Morghulis collided on the first turn checking In Orbit.  Crossfire Icon clipped the heels of Torh Minter approaching the home turn.  Scooby Scooby Do checked off Crossfire Icon approaching the home turn.  In Orbit and Crossfire Icon collided on the home turn.  Torh Minter raced wide in the home straight.

Alfie's Affair was a late scratching at 6:10pm on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to illness.  A five day stand down period was imposed.

Tiggerlong Ring was a late scratching at 9:52pm on the advice of the Club's Veterinary Surgeon due to an infection in its right elbow.  A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
