Steward's Report

Stewards spoke to Mr John Lindrea the trainer of Keno Bale regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Keno Bale last raced on 16 November 2017 and is returning after a change of kennel.

A pre race sample was taken from Due Fratteli.

Kiowa Kaema and Galloping Leo collided soon after the start. Galloping Leo and Eduardo Rose collided soon after the start, checking Galloping Leo. Kiowa Kaema checked off Eduardo Rose entering the back straight, checking Kiowa Kaema. Kiowa Kaema and Galloping Leo collided in the back straight. Keno Bale and Kiowa Kaema collided in the back straight. Black Shirley and Due Fratteli collided in the back straight, causing Due Fratteli to stumble. Keno Bale and Galloping Leo collided on the third turn, checking Keno Bale.

Black Shirely was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Stewards issued a warning to Mr. William McMahon, the representative of Black Shirley regarding the greyhound’s racing manners entering the home straight.
