Steward's Report
Reality Sail and Ball Bearing collided soon after the start. Darren Allen and Charlie Cockatoo collided soon after the start. Ball Bearing and Reality Sail collided approaching the first turn, checking Reality Sail and Yongning. Darren Allen checked off Yongning on the first turn, checking Happy Allen. Darren Allen and Happy Allen collided approaching the second turn, checking both greyhounds. Yongning and Garrido collided entering the home straight.
Reality Sail was vetted and after being re-vetted following event three, it was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Stewards spoke to Mr Justin Hetherton, the trainer of the greyhound Reality Sail. Stewards deemed the performance of Reality Sail unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71, Stewards directed that Reality Sail must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.
Stewards issued a warning to Mr William McMahon, the handler of Garrido, regarding him wearing the incorrect bib and also the incorrect rug being placed on the greyhound.
