Mickey Rawson and Mizuki collided soon after the start, checking Mickey Rawson. Lady Alliance checked off Raging Inferno on the first turn. Lady Alliance galloped on Toss The Dice on the first turn, severely checking Toss The Dice which fell, checking Mizuki and Mickey Rawson. Weasley Grange raced wide in the home straight.
Toss The Dice was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right pectoral (chest) muscle. A five-day stand down period was imposed.
