Track Curator Mr B.Skurrie advised Stewards that the track was deeply harrowed and graded on Monday 15th January 2018.

Zanzeedoo was slow to begin. Dyna Oscar and Diego Fernando collided soon after the start. Dyna Quire, Dyna Adria and Destini Cavalier collided soon after the start. Dyna Quire, Dyna Adria, Destini Cavalier, Jessie Fernando, Dyna Ivan and Diego Fernando collided approaching the first turn, checking Destini Cavalier, Dyna Adria, Dyna Quire and Jessie Fernando. Zanzeedoo checked off the heels of Destini Cavalier on the third turn. Destini Cavalier and Dyna Ivan collided entering the home straight. Destini Cavalier and Zanzeedoo collided in the home straight. 

Dyna Quire was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found. 

Splish Splash was quick to begin. Dyna Sarah and Phoenix Fernando collided soon after the start. Ayo Joy checked off Phoenix Fernando approaching the first turn. Phoenix Fernando and Dyna Uni collided on the second turn. Dyna Sarah, Phoenix Fernando and Dyna Uni collided entering the back straight, checking Phoenix Fernando and Dyna Uni. Ayo Joy and Poppy's Way collided entering the home straight  

Ayo Joy was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

How's It Thunder went up with the lids and was slow to begin. How's It Thunder raced wide on the first turn. Dyna Francine and Dyna Gertie collided on the second turn, checking both greyhounds. Canterbury and Dyna Gertie collided entering the back straight, checking both greyhounds. 

Destini Jaguar was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left thigh, a 14 day stand down period was imposed. 

Mepunga Zeus and Dyna Quail were slow to begin. Dubai Prince and Flat Sick collided approaching the first turn, checking both greyhounds. Dubai Prince and Flat Stick collided on the first turn, checking Flat Stick. Destini Ferrari, Mini Fernando and Mepunga Zeus collided on the second turn, checking Mini Fernando and Mepunga Zeus. Dyna Monty galloped on the heels of Dyna Harpa entering the back straight.

Faithful Hill and Bluehawk Ralph were slow to begin. Tiger Frost, Destini Rocket and Ima Caravan collided approaching the first turn, checking Destini Rocket and Noosa Parade. Ima Caravan and Magenta Gold collided on the fourth turn, checking Magenta Gold and Destini Rocket. Bluehawk Ralph and Noosa Parade collided on the home turn, checking Bluehawk Ralph.

Latifi Sam was quick to begin. Deano's Smidge was slow to begin. Parcero Hope and Emio Bale collided soon after the start. Percero Hope and Latifi Sam collided on the first turn. Yogi Mikado crossed wide entering the back straight. Parcero Hope and Latifi Sam collided in the back straight.

Dashing Dino was quick to begin. Fess Crockett was slow to begin. Nicky Neo, Tiza Fabio and Aston Groucho collided approaching the first turn. Aston Groucho, Tiza Fabio and Star Fever collided on the first turn, checking Aston Groucho, Star Fever, Tiza Fabio and Fess Crockett. Just Blacky and Nicky Neo collided on the first turn. Aston Groucho and Just Blacky collided entering the home straight.

No Passengers, Cosmic Tilly, Share, Speedy Ryder and Dyna Chancer collided soon after the start, checking Share, Cosmic Tilly and Speedy Ryder. Dyna Chancer, No Passengers and Cindeen Jates collided approaching the first turn. Cindeen Jates crossed to the rail on the second turn, checking Share, Cosmic Tilly and Tahleia Brae. Cindeen Jates checked off Speedy Ryder on the third turn, checking Share. Speedy Ryder checked off the heels of Cindeen Jates approaching the home turn.

All You Got and Rythym Taboo collided soon after the start, checking both greyhounds. Especial Shiraz, Dyna Terror, All You Got and Rythym Taboo collided soon after the start, checking all four greyhounds. Undisputed and How's It Burning collided approaching the first turn. Dyna Terror checked off the heels of Especial Shiraz approaching the first turn, checking Rythym Taboo and All You Got. How's It Burning and Taking Aim collided on the first turn, checking Taking Aim and severely checking How's It Burning. All You Got and Rythym Taboo collided on the first turn, severely checking both greyhounds. Rythym Taboo marred All You Got in the home straight, resulting in All You Got and How's It Burning being checked. 

How's It Burning was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left shoulder, a 5 day stand down period was imposed. 

All You Got was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found. 

Rythym Taboo was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found. 

Stewards spoke to Mrs. J. Chilcott, the handler of the greyhound Rythym Taboo regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight. Acting under GAR 69(1) stewards charged Rythym Taboo with marring. Mrs. Chilcott pleaded guilty to the charge, Rythym Taboo was found guilty and suspended for 3 months (all tracks) and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(b), before any future nomination will be accepted.

Stewards issued a warning to registered person Carol Brinsley after the greyhound Undisputed was late to be retrieved from the kennels prior to the race.

Ollie Buck was slow to begin. Cosa Bona and Loch Tight collided soon after the start, checking Cosa Bona and Loch Tight. Cosa Bona and Loch Tight collided approaching the first turn. Emilia Mel and Cosa Bona collided on the first turn, checking Emilia Mel and Ollie Buck. Gambler's Loot and Toss The Dice collided on the first turn. Gambler's Loot and Toss The Dice collided on the second turn, checking Gambler's Loot.

Cairnlea Rosie crossed wide entering the home straight, checking King Of Ring. Gats As Promised marred Ratajkowski in the home straight. 

Gats As Promised was vetted following the evnt. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found. 

Stewards spoke to Mr. D. Phillips, the trainer of the greyhound Gats As Promised regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight. Acting under GAR 69(1) stewards charged Gats As Promised with marring. Mr. Phillips pleaded guilty to the charge, Gats As Promised was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Sandown and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
