Destini Trucker was quick to begin. Exford Lumpy and Scram I'm First were slow to begin.
Jet Blaster, Crackerjack Mick, Little Loony and My Fernando Tim collided soon after the start. Little Loony and My Fernando Tim collided approaching the first turn, checking Exford Lumpy. Scram I'm First faltered on the first turn and lost considerable ground. Jet Blaster and Crackerjack Mick collided on the first turn, checking Crackerjack Mick. Little Loony and Exford Lumpy collided entering the home straight.
Scram I'm First was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left gracilis (back) muscle. A 60-day stand down period was imposed.
