Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Ms. E. Bowles, the trainer of Hit 'N' Split, regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Hit 'N' Split last raced on 10th of May 2017. Ms Bowles stated that Hit 'N' Split is returning to racing from a tail injury.
A pre race sample was taken from Wheel And Deal.
Greenback Boogie and Wheel And Deal were slow to begin. Hit 'N' Split was quick to begin. Scott Finesse and We Froff Dat collided soon after the start and again at the 250m mark. Scott Finesse checked off We Froff Dat at the 200m mark. Jetmag Storm checked off Greenback Boogie at the 200m mark. Wheel And Deal and Dami Girl collided at the 150m mark, checking both greyhounds. Wheel And Deal and Dami Gal collided approaching the winning post.
Stewards spoke to Mr K. Mccann regarding the direction that the greyhound Jetmag Storm be boxed first. Acting under GAR 52(2) Stewards observed the greyhound in this event and directed that this box first be removed.
