Steward's Report
Swift Trent was a late scratching at 11.09 am, due to injury (dew claw) (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.
A pre-race sample was taken from City And Colour.
Squirto, Ikon Parker and Ace Marlow collided soon after the start, checking Ace Marlow. City And Colour and Crazy Jo Jo collided approaching the home turn, checking City And Colour. Ikon Parker and Crazy Jo Jo collided entering the home straight.
Ikon Parker was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a spike wound to the left foreleg, a three day stand down period was imposed.
