Piccolo Dancer was vetted following the event after colliding with Lord Flash Heart and falling in the catching pen. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.  Stewards also spoke to Trainer, Ms A Powell, who advised that she would be having Piccolo Dancer checked by her Vet prior to starting again.

Desperado Boy and All Inn Boston were slow to begin.

Iceni Outlaw and Crackerjack Roy collided soon after the start checking Crackerjack Roy and Spring Saviour. Spring Saviour and Crackerjack Roy collided approaching the first turn checking Crackerjack Roy. Winlock Bird and All Inn Boston collided several times approaching the home turn.

Satisfactory Trial Results Tiza Fabio trialled over the 425mts from box 1, weight 35.5kgs, the greyhound was placed 1st in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 24.85, the greyhound won by a margin of 1.25L.Tiza Fabio was cleared.

Satisfactory Trial Results (Blinkers) - Nareen trialled over the 425mts from box 2, weight 29.6kgs, the greyhound was placed 3rd in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 24.85, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 2.75L. Nareen was cleared.  

Satisfactory Trial Results - Ray's Wish trialled over the 425mts from box 6, weight 29.8kgs, the greyhound was placed 2nd in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 24.85, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 1.25L. Ray's Wish was cleared.
