Joseph Robert was a late scratching at 6:07 pm on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon, due to an elevated temperature.  A five day stand down period was imposed.

The start of this event was delayed by approximately one minute, due to a rabbit on the track at the home turn.

Buster Norris, Runnin' Chapta and She's Enough collided soon after the start, checking Runnin' Chapta.  Rainmaker Elle and Lieu Knee Annie collided soon after the start, checking Lieu Knee Annie.  Dyna Owen and Ashton Charlee collided soon after the start.  Lieu Knee Annie and She's Enough collided soon after the start, checking Lieu Knee Annie.  She's Enough and Ashton Charlee collided on the first turn, checking both greyhounds.  Dyna Owen and Rainmaker Elle collided approaching the home turn, checking Rainmaker Elle.

Myrrdon and Total Mayhem collided soon after the start, checking Total Mayhem.  Major Style and Amber's Wish collided approaching the first turn, checking both greyhounds.  Myrrdon and Major Style collided on the first turn, checking both greyhounds.  Corsican and Total Mayhem collided on the first turn, checking both greyhounds.  Zambora Tyler and High Water collided on two occasions the home turn, checking both greyhounds.  High Water tired in the home straight.

High Water was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Kolora Davey and Southwood Ace were slow to begin.  Kolora Davey and Southwood Ace collided soon after the start, checking both greyhounds.  Major Energy, Shield Of Dreams and Blackpool Doc collided approaching the first turn, checking Blackpool Doc and Shield Of Dreams.  Kiss Me Marday and Blackpool Doc collided on the first turn, checking Blackpool Doc and Chasin' Destiny.  Blackpool Doc and Chasin' Destiny collided approaching the home turn, checking Blackpool Doc, Chasin' Destiny, Shield Of Dreams and Kolora Davey.  Chasin' Destiny contacted the rail approaching the home turn.  Southwood Ace, Kolora Davey and Chasin' Destiny collided on the home turn, checking Kolora Davey and Chasin' Destiny.  Shield Of Dreams and Blackpool Doc collided entering the home straight, severely checking Blackpool Doc which fell, and as a result Kolora Davey was checked.

Major Energy was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a tail injury.  No stand down period was imposed.

Chasin' Destiny was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a facial laceration, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Blackpool Doc was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right hindleg quadriceps injury, a seven day stand down period was imposed.

Mr Christian Redenbach, trainer of Deadline, declared a new weight of 35.5 kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2).  Deadline last raced at 36.9 kgs.

Dyna Eroll, Mepunga Pride and My Hardaway Hana collided soon after the start, checking Mepunga Pride.  Dyna Lenae, Xera Bale and Deadline collided soon after the start, checking Xera Bale and Deadline.  Deadline and Xera Bale collided approaching the first turn.  

Trium was withdrawn by order of Stewards pursuant to GAR25(1)(b) after an inquiry with Ms Angela Warton on Thursday, 28 December 2017.

Freddie Rawson was slow to begin.  Teflon Toby and Mickey Rawson collided soon after the start, checking Mickey Rawson which stumbled and lost ground.  Mr Moonlight raced wide on the home turn and in the home straight.

Dyna Zad, Charity Wish and Fast Izzi collided approaching the first turn, severely checking Charity Wish and Fast Izzi.  Huge Allen and Loroupe raced wide on the home turn and in the home straight.

Fast Izzi was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right foreleg wrist injury, a 60 day stand down period was imposed.

Tiarna Keeping, Crook Me Kindly, Dark Taboo, Alpha Themis and Spur collided soon after the start, checking Dark Taboo, Alpha Themis and Spur.  Barry Bomber and Ready And Armed collided on the home turn.  Spur and Billy Deeds raced wide on the home turn and in the home straight.  Ready And Armed and Barry Bomber raced wide in the home straight.

Winlock Casper and Fernando Drums were slow to begin.  Koitsenko and Missed My Stop collided approaching the first turn, checking Missed My Stop.  Missed My Stop, Fernando Drums and Seabrook Indi collided on the first turn, checking all three greyhounds.  Winlock Casper crossed wide on the home turn.

Winlock Casper was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

We Wish went up with the lids and was slow to begin.  Rellim Diesel and Miss Legality collided soon after the start, checking both greyhounds.  We Wish and Miss Legality collided soon after the start.  We Wish, Miss Legality and Rellim Diesel collided on the first turn, checking Rellim Diesel.  Ronray Destiny checked off the heels of Penny Worth approaching the home turn, as a result Thunder Of Night checked off the heels of Ronray Destiny.  Golden Warrior and Ronray Destiny collided in the home straight.
