Witch In Motion was a late scratching at 2:52PM on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to the greyhound being on season (GAR 24). A 28 day stand down period was imposed. After taking initial evidence from owner Ross Brook in relation to the scratching of Witch In Motion Stewards adjourned the inquiry.

Steward's delayed the all clear in this event as a rabbit was located on the infield near the home turn. After viewing the official replays Steward's were satisfied that no greyhound was affected and therefore all clear was declared.

The start of this event was delayed by approximately one minute to allow club staff to remove a rabbit from the home turn. 

Merinda Ollie was slow to begin. Home Runner, Dontron and Grand Maximus collided approaching the first turn. checking Dontron. Lilly Of Laguna was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left flexor tendon, a 60 day stand down period was imposed.

Merinda Ollie was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a fracture to the right hock and was humanely euthanased. 

Little Boy Jed was a late scratching at 10:16AM due to an injury (GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted. 

Brae's Bullet and Fancy Talon were slow to begin. Emma's Sparrow and Destini Echo collided approaching the first turn, checking Emma's Sparrow. Mexican Terror was a late scratching at 3:42PM on Veterinary advice (GAR 37) (fleas). No stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate of clearance, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Satisfactory Trial Results - Lektra Blicavs trialled over the 400m from box 1, weight 31.9kg, the greyhound was placed 4th in a field of 4 starters. The time of the trial was 22.68, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 5.15 lengths. Lektra Blicavs was cleared. 

Satisfactory Trial Results - Noonbarra Storm trialled over the 400m from box 3, weight 33.3kg, the greyhound was placed 3rd in a field of 4 starters. The time of the trial was 22.68, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 4 lengths. Noonbarra Storm was cleared. 

Satisfactory Trial Results - Osakalaka trialled over the 460m from box 1, weight 29.1kg, the greyhound was placed 3rd in a field of 4 starters. The time of the trial was 25.509, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 12 lengths. Osakalaka was cleared. 

Satisfactory Trial Results - Art Noveau trialled over the 460m from box 3, weight 26.4kg, the greyhound was placed 1st in a field of 4 starters. The time of the trial was 25.509, the greyhound won by a margin of 8.75 lengths. Art Noveau was cleared.
