Nunniong Fire and Tally Ho Len were slow to begin.  Miss Hanna Berry and My Fernando Tim collided soon after the start.  My Fernando Tim and Nunniong Fire collided at the 250m mark.  Miss Hanna Berry, My Fernando Tim and Nunniong Fire collided approaching the 200m mark, checking all three greyhounds.  Nunniong Fire and Sunny Emgrand collided at the 150m mark.  Super Serena and Invictus Storm collided at the 150m mark, the 100m mark and again approaching the winning post.

Stewards spoke to Ms. A. Kampman, trainer of Tally Ho Kate regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Tally Ho Kate last raced on 18th of May 2017.  Mr Kampman stated that the greyhound was returning from a seasonal spell and a left metacarpal injury.

Silvagni Cubed was a late scratching at 10.30am on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to a torn left toenail. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Whacker Fancy was a late scratching at 10.07am due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer V Watson was fined the sum of $100.

Smurftastic was a late scratching at 10.08am due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer V Watson was fined the sum of $100.

Invictus Shirely and Agent Osti collided at the 200m mark.

Another Emgrand, Superior Scotch and Rurik were slow to begin.  Angel Cloud and Bruree Girl collided soon after the start.  Tyson Trump and Angel Cloud collided at the 100m mark.  Another Emgrand checked off Superior Scotch at the 75m mark.

Massive Attack, Lost Blue, Boston You Essay and Little Sunshine collided soon after the start.  Massive Attack and Little Sunshine collided at the 275m mark.  Blazing Nitro and Massive Attack collided at the 250m mark, checking Massive Attack.  Blazing Nitro, Little Sunshine, Lost Blue and Spectroscopic collided at the 150m mark.

MEETING COMMENTS:

Satisfactory Trial Results - Catsford Allan trialled over the 300m from box 8, weight 28.7kgs, the greyhound was placed 2nd in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 16.90, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 1 3/4 lengths. Catsford Allan was cleared.

Blue Odessa trialled over the 300m from box 1, weight 30.0kgs, the greyhound was placed 1st in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 16.90, the greyhound won by a margin of 1 3/4 lengths. Blue Odessa was cleared.

Premier Back trialled over the 300m from box 4, weight 30.6kgs, the greyhound was placed 4th in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 16.90, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 3 1/2 lengths. Premier Back was cleared.

Emily Sky trialled over the 300m from box 8, weight 24.8kgs, the greyhound was placed 3rd in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 16.90, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 2 1/2 lengths. Emily Sky was cleared.
