The Club Veterinary Surgeon examined Aston Bolt and no illness was detected.  The greyhound was a late scratching at 4:20pm due to weight variation (GAR 39).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Trainer Mr. E. Lieshout was fined the sum of $100.

A pre race sample was unable to be taken from Jaggered Nikki a post race sample was subsequently taken.

Peggy Hook and Edge Of Town were quick to begin.  Jaggered Nikki and Sandtrack Sniper were slow to begin.  Jaggered Nikki checked off Sandtrack Sniper approaching the first turn.  Tahlia's Diamond galloped on Sandtrack Sniper on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Jaggered Nikki checked off Tahlia's Diamond entering the home straight.

Mella Moo was slow to begin.  Georgie Porgi, Sapphire Hawke, Disclaimer and Rasleigh Banser collided soon after the start checking Sapphire Hawke.  Georgie Porgi checked off Disclaimer on the first turn.  Mella Moo checked off Dashin Dayz approaching the home turn.  Georgie Porgi and Disclaimer collided entering the home straight.

Shamus Mac and Oh Nikita were slow to begin.  Shamus Mac stumbled soon after the start. Oh Nikita and Rurik collided soon after the start checking Rurik.   Fess Crocket and Billy Clover collided approaching the first turn checking Billy Clover. Bily Clover, Oh Nikita and Rurik collided on the first turn.  Salty Pat and Riviera Cruz collided approaching the home turn.  Shamus Mac raced wide on the home turn and in the home straight.

Rurik was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound was found to have a diaphragmatic flutter (thumps).  No stand down period was imposed.

Heard It Before, Clarence Clocka and Miss Taryn were slow to begin.  Boss Senor and Heard It Before collided soon after the start.  Danger Bale, Resplando and She's A Collinda collided on the first turn checking Danger Bale and Resplando. Danger Bale, Resplando and Riverside Deb collided entering the back straight checking Riverside Deb.  Danger Bale and Clarence Clocka collided on the second turn checking Danger Bale.  Heard It Before checked off Resplando on the second turn.
