A pre-race sample was taken from Bombshell Bandit.
Bombshell Bandit and Clovalley Dave were quick to begin.
Thunder Raz and Helen Baxter collided soon after the start, checking Thunder Raz. Chilly Kiss and Danger Bale collided approaching the first turn, checking Chilly Kiss. Chilly Kiss and Danger Bale collided on the first turn, checking Danger Bale and Dewana Interest. Chilly Kiss checked off Helen Baxter entering the back straight. Dewana Interest checked off Clovalley Dave approaching the third turn. Helen Baxter checked off Myrniong Cosmo approaching the home turn. Clovalley Dave, Danger Bale and Myrniong Cosmo collided entering the home straight, checking Myrniong Cosmo. Bombshell Bandit and Helen Baxter collided approaching the winning post, checking Bombshell Bandit.
MEETING COMMENTS
Satisfactory Trial Results - Oshkosh Expert trialled over the 525m from box one, weight 33.7kg, the greyhound was placed first in a field of four. The time of the trial was 30.36, the greyhound won by a margin of 0.75L. Oshkosh Expert was cleared.
Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) - Stewards spoke to Ms Andrea Dailly, the trainer of Jeebus Bird, regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced. Jeebus Bird last raced on 18 December 2016. Ms Dailly stated that the greyhound had been spelled for an extended period. Pursuant to GAR 77A, Jeebus Bird trialled over the 525m from box three, weight 33.7kg, the greyhound was placed second in a field of four. The time of the trial was 30.36, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 0.75L. Jeebus Bird was cleared.

Race 3: Trainer Mr Darren Fisher advised stewards that Farmer Brown was sore in the neck and back following the event. On reviewing the video footage, stewards noted that Farmer Brown appeared to have made contact with the lids at box rise.
