Avatar Dodge and All Inn Tana collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn. Krazy Blaze crossed to the rail soon after the start, checking Jai Jai Away and Money Dud. Money Dud, Jai Jai Away, Avatar Dodge and All Inn Tara collided on the first turn, checking all four greyhounds. Money Dud, Jai Jai Away and Miss Premier collided approaching the home turn, checking Money Dud and Avatar Dodge, and severely checking Jai Jai Away, All Inn Tana and Miss Premier; all three greyhounds fell as a result.
