Flying Class was quick to begin. Nymphadora Tonks and Rumble Drive were slow to begin. African Rhino, Nunniong Plain, Pink Floyd and Diamond Ruby collided on the first turn checking Diamond Ruby, Pink Floyd and Nymphadora Tonks. African Rhino and Nunniong Plain collided approaching the second turn checking Nunniong Plain and Diamond Ruby. Nunniong PLain and Diamond Ruby collided several times from the third turn to the home turn. Nymphadora Tonks and Pink Floyd collided on the home turn and again approaching the winning post. Flying Class tired over the concluding stages of the event.
