Pursuant to GAR 104(6), parade Mr G Glass did not act in any official capacity for this event.
A pre-race sample was taken from Major Bill.
Patriotic Star and Josie Rumble collided soon after the start. Sonny's Tas, Major Bill and Patriotic Star collided approaching the first turn, checking Patriotic Star. Dark Vader and Joyous collided on the first turn. Joyous and Wrecker One collided approaching the home turn, causing Wrecker One to fall and collided with Josie Rumble and Major Bill, severely checking Manhattan Man. Josie Rumble clipped the heels of Manhattan Man on the home turn.
Wrecker One was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound dislocated both hocks and was humanely euthanased.
