Steward's Report
Stewards had notification from Race Caller Mr J.Van De Maat that he was running late. Stewards contacted TAB to have start time put back by 1 minute, the race was delayed by a further 1-minute due to the late arrival of the race caller.
Go Didda Go and Mahjong Heat were slow to begin.
Two Phils Cool, Go Diddia Go and Jakesta collided approaching the first turn checking Go Didda Go and Jakesta. Go Didda Go, Mahjong Heat and Derivation collided on the first turn checking Derivation. Jakesta checked off Derivation on the first turn. Mahjong Heat and Go Didda Go collided approaching the home turn. Derivation, Mahjong Heat and Go Didda Go collided on the home turn checking Mahjong Heat. Mahjong checked off Go Didda Go in the home straight.
Mahjong Heat was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left monkey muscle injury, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards issued a warning to Mr D. Keanelly, the trainer of Mahjong Heat regarding the greyhound's racing manners in the home straight.
