Stewards spoke to Ms. D. Massina, the trainer of Lashil regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Lashil last raced on the 8th of March, 2017. Ms. Massina stated that Lashil is returning to racing from being on season.

Bliss Street was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to both pencil muscles and the right trapezius muscle, a a seven day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards issued a warning to Mr. T. Cortese, the trainer of Porscha's Girl regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the back straight.

Ishmy Gloria was slow to begin. Ronray Legend and Counting Pennies collided soon after the start. Cain Hoy, Zara's Entity and Ronray Legend collided approaching the first turn, checking all three greyhounds. Counting Pennies and Spyfection collided on the first turn, checking Spyfection and Ishmy Gloria. Cain Hoy and Ronray Legend collided on the first turn, checking Ronray Legend.
