Due to a malfunction with the judges equipment a photo finish image was unable to be captured for this event. Judges used the back up system and race replay to determine all placing and margins. 

Angry Alley and Crash Reality were quick to begin.  Special Member was slow to begin.  Rasleigh Banser and Gem's Pick collided approaching the first turn checking Gem's Pick.  Special Member contacted the running rail approaching the first turn.  In The Trolley checked off Riverside Mons on the first turn.

Tom's Tornado, Dollar Rose and Riverside Dot were slow to begin.  Dollar Rose contacted the running rail approaching the first turn.  Tom's Tornado checked off Riverside Dot on the first turn.  Weekend In Paris and Major Nippa collided approaching the home turn.

Tom's Tornado was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Milly's Way and Slog Sweep were quick to begin.  Proven May and Lady Member were slow to begin.  Atomiser went up with the lids at boxrise.  Dusty Chopstix checked off Milly's Way approaching the first turn.  Fiery Storm checked off Slog Sweep on the first turn severely checking Pink Caviar.  Slog Sweep and Milly's Way collided on the first turn checking Milly's Way.  Atomiser and Pink Caviar collided approaching the home turn and again entering the home straight.  Slog Sweep checked off Fiery Storm entering the home straight checking Milly's Way.

Stewards spoke to Mr. P Grice, the trainer of Crusader reagrding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Crusader last raced 27 December, 2015. Mr Grice stated that he is the new trainer of the greyhound.

Wadelock Arky was slow to begin.  Taabinga Swift and Bernadeen collided approaching the first turn checking Bernadeen.  Taabinga Swift and Knightrider collided approaching the first turn checking Knightrider and Wadelock Arky.  Bernadeen contacted the running rail approaching the first turn.  Crusader and Classy Diamond collided on the first turn checking Classy Diamond.  Crusader checked off Taabinga Swift entering the home straight.  Wadelock Arky crossed out entering the home straight checking Wadelock Arky and Taabinga Swift.  Enola Gay checked off Knightrider approaching the winning post.

Prue Jay was vetted and after being re vetted following event 9, it was reported that the greyhound sustained a left shoulder tear and soreness in the right shoulder, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Sweet Amber was slow to begin.  Allen Terminator crossed to the rail on the first turn checking What's To Like and Off The Hip.  Three Day Shadow and Sweet Amber collided on the first turn.  Off The Hip checked off What's To Like entering the back straight checking Three Day Shadow.  Still The One contacted the running rail in the back straight and lost considerable ground checking Dark Avenger, Three Day Shadow, Off The Hip and Sweet Amber.  Dark Avenger and Sweet Amber collided on the second turn.

Still The One was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained lacerations to the right foreleg and right front wrist, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Satisfactory Trial Results - Ballymac Gunnar trialled over the 440m from box 3, weight 33.2kgs, the greyhound was placed 1st in a field of 4.  The time of the trial was 25.32,  the greyhound won by a margin of a neck. Ballymac Gunnar was Cleared.

Satisfactory Trial Results - Oakmont Malawi trialled over the 440m from box 7, weight 35.2kgs, the greyhound was placed 3rd in a field of 4.  The time of the trial was 25.32, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 1 length. Oakmont Malawi was Cleared.

Satisfactory Trial Results - Bit after Nine trialled over the 440m from box 1, weight 30.1kgs, the greyhound was placed 4th in a field of 4.  The time of the trial was 25.32, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 1.75 lengths.  Bit After Nine was Cleared.
