Let's Go Billy was a late scratching at 6:39PM due to non arrival (GAR 31). A 28 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Mr R Cameron was fined the sum of $100.
Destini Baritone and Ripstick Ella collided soon after the start. Moment In Time and Sophie's Pride collided approaching the first turn. Zero Care Factor and Moment In Time collided on the first turn checking Zero Care Factor. Moment In Time and Destini Baritone collided approaching the home turn checking Moment In Time. To The Choppar checked off Ripstick Ella in the home straight. Lloyd Christmas raced wide in the home straight.
Sophie's Pride was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained cramping to the left hindleg. No stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr D Jensen, the handler of the greyhound Sophie's Pride. Acting in accordance with GAR 71 (Cramp), Stewards directed that the greyhound must perform a Satisfactory Trial before any future nomination will be accepted.
