Steward's Report
Zipping Johnny, Roll 'Em High and Krav Maga were slow to begin. College Graduate and Mental Burst collided approaching the first turn. Krav Maga and Zipping Johnny collided approaching the first turn. Shelby's Magic, Mental Burst, Krav Maga and Roll 'Em High collided on the first turn checking Mental Burst and Zipping Johnny and severely checking Krav Maga and Roll 'Em High. Zipping Johnny checked off Mental Burst on the second turn. Zipping Johnny, Shelby's Magic and Jumbo Jack collided in the back straight checking Jumbo Jack and Shelby's Magic. Mental Burst checked off Shelby's Magic entering the home straight.
Stewards issued a warning to Mr. J. Mundy, the handler of Jumbo Jack regarding the greyhound's racing manners at box rise.
Roll 'Em High was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its left monkey muscle and a small skin laceration to its right hind leg. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
