Feel Your Heart, Takaho Tiger, Ah Sugar Sugar, Long Live Sid and Clickin' Gears were all slow to begin.  Takaho Tiger and Ah Sugar Sugar collided approaching the first turn.  Takaho Tiger checked off Ah Sugar Sugar on the first turn.  Feel Your Heart, Clickin' Gears and Bye Bye Boy collided on the first turn, checking Feel Your Heart and Bye Bye Boy, and severely checking Ah Sugar Sugar and Long Live Sid, both greyhounds lost ground as a result.

Ishmy Gloria and Light The Track were slow to begin.  Dynamic Rainbow and Angelic Hand collided soon after the start.  Angelic Hand and Doused In Mud collided soon after the start and again on the first turn, checking Angelic Hand, Sharp Diamond and Light The Track.  Angelic Hand raced wide approaching the second turn and collided with Sharp Diamond, checking both greyhounds as a result.  Bont's Magic checked off Dynamic Rainbow on the second turn.  Dynamic Rainbow and Bont's Magic collided on the third turn.  

Pre-race and post race urine samples were unable to be obtained from Bont's Magic, a blood sample was subsequently taken.

Cain Hoy and Sly Shiraz were quick to begin.  Zipping Scarlet and Greenback Boogie were slow to begin.  Sly Shiraz and Little Tacka collided soon after the start.  Excelencia and Quick Finance collided approaching the first turn.  Greenback Boogie and Excelencia collided on the first turn, checking Greenback Boogie.  Cain Hoy and Quick Finance collided on the first turn.  Zipping Scarlet and Excelencia collided on the second turn.  Zipping Scarlet and Greenback Boogie collided approaching the winning post.

Black Salve and Ribacola were slow to begin and collided soon after the start.  Mister Heeney and Faithful Hill collided on the first turn.  He's Ma Bro and Mister Heeney collided on the first turn.  He's Ma Bro checked off Mister Heeney approaching the second turn.  Shine and Ribacola collided approaching the second turn.  Mister Heeney checked off Faithful Hill on the second turn, severely checking Black Salve.  Black Salve and Ribacola collided on the home turn.

Poppy Pete and Dewana Babe were slow to begin.  Chasin' Crackers and Poppy Pete collided soon after the start.  Henry and Miss Dee Meadows collided on the first turn, checking Henry.  Emio Bale and Dewana Babe collided on the third turn.  Miss Dee Meadows and Poppy Pete collided approaching the winning post, checking Poppy Pete.  

Emio Bale was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained left hindleg back muscle injury, a 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Mustang Sammy and She's Dee Rocket were quick to begin.  Go Levi and Brandeen Bayley collided approaching the first turn, checking Brandeen Bayley and Bank Rogue.  Mustang Sammy clipped the heels of She's Dee Rocket approaching the first turn and stumbled.  Mustang Sammy and Go Levi collided on the first turn, checking Mustang Sammy.  Brandeen Bayley and Bank Rogue collided approaching the home turn.  Brandeen Bayley and Tricky Tron collided entering the home straight.  Mustang Sammy and Why Not Logan raced wide in the home straight.  Mustang Sammy checked off Why Not Logan approaching the winning post.
