Raging Inferno and Undercover Viv collided approaching the home turn severely checking Undercover Viv which stumbled.

Undercover Viv was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an abrasion to the left hind toes.  No stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. E. Lieshout, the trainer of Aston Grace regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Aston Grace last raced on 23rd December, 2016.  Mr. Lieshout stated that the greyhound was returning to racing after being seasonal and a change of kennels.

Mr. E. Lieshout,  trainer of Aston Grace declared a new weight of 28.4kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2).  Aston Grace last raced at 29.5kgs.

Stewards spoke to Mr. H. Whelan, the trainer of Lakeview Grace regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Lakeview Grace last raced on 5th February, 2017.  Mr. Whelan stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following a left hock injury.

Amaroo Bazinga and Benny's Legend were slow to begin.  Serious Magic checked off Rusta on the first turn checking Rusta and Dinner Plain.  Lakeview Grace checked off Aston Grace on the first turn.  Rusta and Dinner Plain collided several times approaching the home turn checking Rusta.  Dinner Plain checked off Rusta on the home turn.

Boss Senor, Opalia Bale, Apollo's Twin, Lakeview Lyn and Conquer Fear collided on the first turn.  Avon Glory and Zebo Bale collided on the first turn.  Avon Glory and Zebo Bale collided approaching the second turn severely checking Avon Glory.

She's Got Dash and Anjing Betina collided approaching the first turn checking Anjing Betina.  Taabinga Sprite and Locomotion collided on the first turn checking Taabinga Sprite.  Magic Myer and Locomotion collided approaching the home turn.  Kisseemee checked off She's Got Dash entering the home straight causing Anjing Betina to race wide.

Charly Shu Shine, Mano Warrior and Allen Optic were slow to begin.  Aston Philou, Mano Warrior, Keely Allen, Charly Shu Shine and Allen Optic collided on the first turn checking Allen Optic and Mano Warrior and severely checking Keely Allen.  Charly Shu Shine and Allen Optic collided approaching the home turn.

Freedom Fire, Motivate Her and Sonny's Honey were slow to begin.  Soda Sky, Diamond Vee and Freedom Fire collided on the first turn checking Diamond Vee and Freedom Fire.  Loud Lana and Booma Mikado collided on the first turn. Sonny's Honey and Loud Lana collided on the home turn.  Freedom Fire and Booma Mikado collided on the home turn.  Freedom Fire checked off Loud Lana on the home turn.  Booma Mikado checked off Loud Lana entering the home straight.

Marvellous Midge was slow to begin.  Kilmany Flyer faltered soon after the start and lost ground and subsequently tailed off.  Wadelock Venus checked off Any Other Union approaching the home turn.

Kilmany Flyer was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained abrasions to the right hind pads.  No stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. S. Spoljaric, the trainer of the greyhound Kilmany Flyer.  Stewards deemed the performance of Kilmany Flyer unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71, Stewards directed that Kilmany Flyer must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be qaccepted.
