Clovally Granite checked off the heels of Kraken Jude soon after the start; Clovally Granite and Vincent Benedict checked as a result, causing Clovally Granite to lose ground. Clovally Granite and Vincent Benedict collided several times on the first turn. Kraken Jude, Greysynd Ash and Scott Lucky collided approaching the home turn. Pistachios, Kraken Jude, Greysynd Ash and Scott Lucky collided on the home turn, severely checking Kraken Jude and Scott Lucky, forcing Kraken Jude and Scott Lucky to race wide. Tat Loxy and Pistachios collided in the home straight.
