Sidevalve and Jacey Allen collided on the first turn checking Jacey Allen and Swoop And Peck.  Sidevalve checked off the heels of Vinaka Oscar approaching the home turn.  Marko Bale checked off Jacey Allen approaching the home turn. Mahjong Rule and Bush Destroyer collided approaching the home turn checking Bush Destroyer. One Step Ahead raced wide on the home turn.

Aston Frankel and Midnite Starling collided approaching the first turn checking Midnite Starling. Aston Frankel and Canya Ayden collided on the first turn. Sariah Allen and Spring Emperor collided on the home turn.

China Catch 'Em was slow to begin. Last Princess was very slow to begin - 4 lengths. Dyna Orenthal and Tilly Rocks collided approaching the first turn checking Tilly Rocks and Allen Sharpie. Ledgerwood Joe checked off Kyrgios on the first turn. Last Princess and Tilly Rocks collided approaching the winning post.

Forever Cousins and Bombora Comet were slow to begin. Quen Bale and Leachwood Lass collided soon after the start. Riverview Drive, Leachwood Lass and Very Venom collided approaching the first turn checking Leachwood Lass. Quen Bale and Forever Cousins collided approaching the first turn checking Quen Bale. Forever Cousins, Riverview Drive and Bombora Comet collided on the first turn checking Forever Cousins and severely checking Riverview Drive. Bombora Comet, Very Venom, Bush Ace and Pattaya Paul collided on the home turn checking Bush Ace.

Riverview Drive was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a spike wound to the left hind leg. No stand down period was imposed.

Where's Dex Star and Djays Larry collided approaching the first turn checking Djays Larry. Just A Dot and Cheekers collided on the first turn. Shep, Djays Larry, Daryl Dixon, Mr. Stealer and Menniyan Jet collided on the first turn checking Cheekers and severely checking Mr. Stealer which fell as a result. Cheekers and Daryl Dixon raced wide entering the home straight.

Mr. Stealer was vetted following the event. It was reported that greyhound sustained an injury to the right triceps, a seven day stand down period was imposed.

Abergavenny was slow to begin. Indi Allen crossed to the rails approaching the first turn checking Lala Shim, Midwinter, Alezan and Zippy Daph. Alezan and Midwinter collided entering the back straight checking Alezan. Lala Shim, Zippy Daph and Midwinter collided in the back straight checking Zippy Daph. Quina Bale and Indi Allen collided approaching the second turn checking Quina Bale.

Mate Bale was slow to begin. Hurunui Jack and Merc collided soon after the start checking Hurunui Jack. Cardamom, Merc, Chum's Special and Dream Of Success collided approaching the first turn. Chum's Special and Dream Of Success collided on the first turn checking Chum's Special, Dream Of Success and Mate Bale; Chum's Special raced wide as a result. Merc and Hurunui Jack collided approaching the winning post.

Logistic Kid was slow to begin. Allen Eamon and Darpa Bale collided soon after the start. Zipping Arnold and Allen Eamon collided approaching the first turn checking Zipping Arnold. Shytown Hussler and Meteor Thunder collided approaching the first turn. Meteor Thunder and Expecto Partronum collided on the home turn.

Silky Strings was slow to begin. Miss Vane checked off Eily West soon after the start. Eily West and Miss Vane collided on the first turn checking Miss Vane. Silky Strings and Tiny Bopper collided on the home turn . Tiny Bopper raced wide in the home straight. 

Stewards spoke to Mr. A. McDowell, the trainer of Gassy's Pride regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Gassy's Pride last raced on 29th January, 2017.  Mr. McDowell stated that the greyhound was returning to racing after being on season. Mr. McDowell also declared a new weight of 29.1kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Gassy's Pride last raced at 28.8kg.

What's In Store and Mahjong Baby collided soon after the start. Vienna Black and Inter Elesha collided soon after the start. Rebecca Bale and Game Spirit collided approaching the first turn checking Game Spirit and colliding with What's In Store. What's In Store and Gassy's Pride collided on the first turn checking What's In Store. What's In Store and Mahjong Baby collided approaching the home turn checking Mahjong Baby. Vienna Black and Iceni Skye collided several times in the home straight.

Mepunga Joffa was a late scratching at 10:15pm on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to split webbing on the right hind leg. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. C. Bahen, the trainer of Rick Grimes regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Rick Grimes last raced on 1st February, 2017.  Mr. Bahen stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following an injury to the right monkey muscle.
