Sisco Swift and Lido's Boy collided soon after the start. Cotton Bud Joe and Blackalls Lad collided approaching the first turn. Rock Me Baby and Proven Mona collided approaching the first turn. Blackalls Lad, Lido's Boy, Liscoyle Lady and Proven Mona collided approaching the first turn. Cotton Bud Joe and Rock Me Baby collided on the first turn. Blackalls Lad, Liscoyle Lady and Proven Mona collided approaching the home turn checking Liscoyle Lady which collided with Sisco Swift. Proven Mona and Liscoyle Lady collided entering the home straight. Paula Mechelle faltered approaching the winning post.
